This motherboard uses the NM10 Express chipset and comes standard with a 1.80Ghz Intel Single-Core Atom Processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM (upgradable to 4GB), 10/100 LAN (upgradable), and a 80GB 7200RPM 2.5" SATA Western Digital hard drive. This motherboard can be upgraded to feature a dual-core Atom processor and 10/100/1000 LAN, see below for options. Also available is an optional slim DVD-RW drive and built-in card reader.

The SL-EB-A25-WC-E series is available with many different options and upgrades, and the SL-EB-A25-WC-E is the latest upgraded model. Available standard with low power consumption, light mechanical design, rich I/O connections, and 2D/3D graphic function, the SL-EB-A25-WC-E is fit for low power embedded controllers, ruggedized environments, and I/O communication applications. To enhance the computing power and TCO, this ruggedized embedded box computer also supports up to DDR2 800MHz System Memory up to 4GB capacity and can support most industrial automation control appliances.

While the SL-EB-A25-WC-E features an ultra-quiet 60mm chassis fan, it also uses a passive cooling system allowing this fan to be removed or simply unplugged to create a completely fanless system.
