CONNECTOR: The ESC-100M connects to peripheral equipment through RJ-11
connectors, or using the optional adapter cables, male D-25 connectors. When
the RJ-11 connector is converted to a D-25 connector, the adapter cables must
be assembled with respect to either a DTE or DCE configuration. The standard
serial port connections are listed below, as is a diagram of the connector options.

OS SUPPORT: Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and OS/2.
CONFIGURATION: Windows does not assign COM1-COM4 to ports addressed
at nonstandard locations. The ESC-100M will install in the lowest available
address block over COM4. For example, COM 5-12, COM 6-13, etc.
INCLUDED ACCESSORIES: CP-RJ8--set of 8 RJ-11 to D-25 adapter cables.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: ESB-10 breakout box with D-78 to D-78 cable providing
one D-25 port and seven D-9 ports.
