The 8208 provides 16 Outputs, which can be used for PC based control and automation of equipment including switches, satellite antenna control systems, video and studio automation, security control systems, and other industrial applications. In addition, the 8208 is the perfect choice for integrating unattended status monitoring equipment and fall-back network switching circuits.
The 8208's reed relay outputs provide high quality, long life, low current (10 Watt maximum) dry contact switch closures. Reed relays are well suited for low current applications. Our unique serial string naming feature allows multiple USB digital I/O devices to retain their specific identity within the system. Onboard removable screw terminals are provided to simplify wiring connections. A DIN rail mounting option is available. Windows 98/ME/2000/XP Software drivers is included along with sample applications and utilities for rapid application development. |
