Standard Export and Trade Classifications
| Product / Configuration | Export Classification | HS Code | Schedule B (Export) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rackmount, Panel PC, Embedded, and Desktop computer systems — without operating system | EAR99 | •••••••View8471.41 | 8471.41.0150 |
| Rackmount, Panel PC, Embedded, and Desktop computer systems — with operating system / standard mass-market encryption | ECCN 5A992.c | •••••••View8471.41 | 8471.41.0150 |
| Industrial LCDs / standalone displays (no integrated computer) | EAR99 | •••••••View8528.52 | 8528.52.0000 |
How to read these codes
- HS Code: the first six digits. Most customers and international partners know this code.
- Schedule B: the full 10-digit U.S. code. It is used when SuperLogics exports a system out of the United States. Per SuperLogics shipping, it starts with the same 6-digit HS Code and adds U.S.-specific digits.
Which products share a code
Panel PC, Embedded, and Desktop systems use the same codes as Rackmount systems. The codes follow what the unit does (a complete automatic data processing machine), not the product line it is sold under.
Industrial LCDs are the one exception. A standalone display with no built-in computer falls under HTS heading 8528.52 (monitors), not 8471. Screen size does not matter. 8528.52.0000 is a single code with no size breakdown, confirmed against the U.S. Census Bureau's Schedule B schedule.
Sourced from official government schedules, not yet confirmed by SuperLogics shipping directly — worth a quick sanity check before publishing.

SuperLogics systems are built to order. The export classification can change with the final build. Factors include, but are not limited to:
- Whether an operating system is installed
- Encryption features
- TPM or other security modules
- GPUs, accelerators, special networking, or custom add-in cards
- Software images that the customer installs or provides
- Rugged, aerospace, defense, nuclear, military, or restricted-use applications
- Destination country, end user, and end use
Do not assume a general classification fits every build or use. We may review an order when its build, destination, end user, or end use calls for extra compliance review.

SuperLogics follows U.S. export control, sanctions, and restricted-party rules. We do not knowingly ship to, sell to, support, or take part in deals that involve:
- Prohibited destinations
- Denied or restricted parties
- Prohibited end uses

Before we process or release an order, we may ask for more details. These can include end-user details, the destination, freight forwarder details, or end-use confirmation.

This follows Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
